As a base standard, the inside of a prefabricated steel buildings are unfinished, meaning you are able to see the outer sheeting the girts and the cable bracing used to support the building. You can add interior liner panels to make the inside look more like a building than a industrial complex. Not many people are aware of the interior liner panels and how they can make the inside of your building look a lot better. These interior liner panels are similar in material to the outer sheeting of your steel garage. Yes, you can purchase a less expensive gauge of steel for the liner panels, this is only because the material on the outside has to be able to with stand the harsh environment. You can even section off inside areas of the prefabricated buildings by adding partition walls, creating separate rooms and work areas. Partition walls are good to use if you want to create a separate office space apart from a workshop, then you can insulate those interior walls creating a bigger sound barrier so you can work without the noise of any machinery that might be running in the other room you have created. A partition wall is made of the same materials that make up a standard endwall for the steel barns and steel garages. Don't forget that adding a second floor or loft is a great way to increase the storage space of your steel building. Not to mention a second floor is a great way to separate office from workspace.
